Step out of the Melbourne heat and sink into the shadows as our resident historian, Holi, unlocks the classified vault. Uncover the untold stories, infamous chapters, and legendary moments that paved the way for our community today. It’s equal parts storytelling, queer history, and high-value intelligence.

Strip it down to the bear essentials and step into the high-octane glow. Underbear is back to crank the heat to maximum.

We’re running into the night and locking into an electric synth-and-bass haze. On the decks, DJ Damien Mack and DJ Tonky are dropping heavy, driving tracks all night long, while lighting maestro Craig Fussell transforms the floor into a neon-soaked Vice City nightmare.

Turn down the aircon and crank the humidity. Midweek calls for a total retreat from the summer heat, and VicBears is taking over Melbourne's premier aquatic playground alongside the crew from Down & Dirty.

Slide through the gates of Wet on Wellington low-stress afternoon in the water. Strip down, step into the sun-drenched courtyard, hit the pool, or steam away the sins of Underbear in the spa.

Take a break from the high-octane pace and pull up a front-row seat. Mr VicBears 2026 himself, Justin, is taking over the screen at the Queer Archives for a film night drenched in vintage charm and retro cinema aesthetics.

This is the crown jewel of Bearfest 2027—the ultimate showdown where high stakes, maximum charisma, and heavy-hitting personalities clash under the neon lights. The search is on for the next ambassador to represent our community, lead the crew, and claim the sash.

Watch the contenders go head-to-head on stage at The Laird, putting their nerve, style, and stage presence on the line. Expect high-octane performances, sharp wit, and an electric floor packed shoulder-to-shoulder with the finest bears, otters, and cubs in the state.

The temperatures are spiking, the bass is thumping, and Saturday night of Bearfest belongs to HUNK. We’re turning up the thermostat for Miami Heat—a night dedicated to pure synthwave energy, heavy rhythms, and wall-to-wall body heat.

Step past the velvet ropes at The Laird and drop straight into an electric haze. DJs Virgona & Bandit are commanding the decks to keep the dancefloor moving all night, while lighting producer Craig Fussell sets the room ablaze with high-impact neon visual overload.

We’re shutting down the boulevard and painting the tarmac in neon, leather, and pride. Midsumma Pride March is the ultimate city takeover, and VicBears is rolling deep to represent the community in full force down Fitzroy Street.

Fall in line with the crew as we march shoulder-to-shoulder under the summer sun, surrounded by thousands of cheering crowds, loud bass, and coastal heat. Afterwards, drop anchor at the beachside post-march celebrations at Catani Gardens to keep the party rolling by the bay.
